Austin, Texas -- November 23, 1998- Spinal Concepts, Inc. today announced that they have closed on an $8.2 million round of venture capital. These funds will be used to expand the company's sales and marketing efforts, fund the company's ongoing clinical trials for the InFix(TM) Interbody Fusion System and support current research & development activities.
"This funding comes at a critical time in our company's development and confirms the value we place on our innovative and technologically advanced products for the treatment of spinal disorders", said Vincent J. Jannetty, President and CEO of Spinal Concepts. Vector Fund Management led this financing round. "We are excited to be involved with Spinal Concepts.
